El coronavirus no iba a detener la carrera musical de Taylor Swift y hoy tenemos una clara muestra de ello. Puesto que la artista acaba de publicar por sorpresa para todos su nuevo álbum sin polémicas y con la ausencia de promociones bajo el título ‘Folklore’.
Folklore de Taylor Swift supone el octavo trabajo discográfico de la cantante en el que se sincera y expone todos sus sentimientos, sueños y pensamientos. El disco está compuesto por 16 temas producidas en su mayoría por Aaron Dessner y cuenta con un tema bonus, The Lakes, en el que se hallan las ediciones deluxe del álbum.
Todas las canciones del disco cuentan con portadas diferentes que apuestan por paisajes naturales reflejando así la nostalgia, el estado meláncolico y reflexivo del disco. En cuanto al estilo de las mismas, podemos apreciar en ellas un pop más apagado y un tanto nostálgico. Asimismo, podemos decir que es un álbum en el que nos muestra su concienca más reflexiva.
Junto al lanzamiento del disco, la artista también ha publicado el videoclip de Cardigans que se encuentra dirigido por ella misma y que cuenta con la dirección fotográfica de Rodrigo Prieto. Un tema y un visual que transmiten la calidez, la nostalgia y la certeza que podemos encontrar en esta prenda de ropa, así como en la música.
