Bajo el lema “Rememorando el pasado, construyendo el futuro”, las celebraciones del Orgullo en Madrid (MADO) comenzarán de forma oficial este viernes 28 de junio y estarán repletas de actividades hasta el próximo 7 de julio. Hay que recordar que durante este año se conmemora el 50 aniversario de los disturbios de Stonewall, con los que se puso inicio a la reivindicación LGTBI
Más concretamente, el día 3 de julio, la artista Mónica Naranjo será la encargada de la lectura del pregón cuya presentación correrá a cargo de La Plexy, cómo no podía ser de otra manera, en la plaza Pedro Zerolo desde las 20:00 horas hasta las 23:00 horas.
Asimismo, entre los principales actos de las celebraciones destacan los conciertos de artistas como Miss Caffeina, Soraya, Falete, Agoney, Ricky Merino, Marta Sánchez o Delaporte en los escenarios repartidos entre la Puerta de Alcalá, la Puerta del Sol, la plaza de Pedro Zerolo y la plaza del Rey, así como la manifestación del sábado 6 de julio que partirá de Atocha a las 17:30 y se prolongará hasta casi más allá de la medianoche. En la calle Pelayo se celebrará la tradicional carrera de tacones tendrá lugar en la calle Pelayo el próximo 4 de julio y el próximo día la gala Mr. Gay Pride Madrid 2019.
El horario de las actuaciones durante la semana será de 20.00 a 23.00 horas, mientras que el fin de semana la música continuará una hora más en Pedro Zerolo y en la plaza del Rey, el viernes hasta las 03:00 horas de la madrugada en el escenario de Sol y hasta esa misma hora el viernes y el sábado en la Puerta de Alcalá.
