Octubre ha comenzado para Shaw Mendes con el estreno de una nueva etapa. Estamos hablando del camino hacia su próximo trabajo discográfico que, bajo el título de Wonder, llegará el 4 de diciembre. Puesto que se acaba de publicar el single Wonder de Shawn Mendes, una canción compuesta por el propio artista junto a Scott Harris, Thomas Hull y Nate Mercereau.
El tema es una balada in crescendo en la que el artista reflexiona y se cuestiona sus sentimientos y sus actos. La canción viene acompañada de un videoclip de gran altura dirigido por Matty Peacock.
Un visual en el que vemos a Shaw Mendes atravesando los diferentes vagones como si fueran las etapas de su vida hasta conseguir salir al aire y tener contacto con la naturaleza, su esencia.
