Este viernes, ya podemos escuchar Beatiful Ghosts de Taylor Swift. El tema original que la artista ha preparado para la película Cats, en la que Taylor realizará su debut en el mundo de la ficción con el personaje de Bombalurina.
Este tema ha sido escrito por la artista con la ayuda de Andrew Lloyd Webber, el compositor del musical, en la que podemos escuchar una versión dulce y angelical de la voz de Taylor Swift que nos hace vibrar con una letra en la que asegura que tan solo deseaba ser querida y una melodía evocadora.
En la película de Cats es la protagonista Victoria, interpretada por Francesca Hayward, quien canta el tema, pero en los créditos la que aparece es Taylor Swift. Dirigida por Tom Hooper, Cats llegará a los cines el próximo 19 de diciembre.
Asimismo, hay que recordar que “Cats” ha sido uno de los musicales que más tiempo ha estado en cartel en el West End y en Broadway. Puesto que, se estrenó en el teatro New London en 1981 donde estuvo en cartel durante 21 años y fue galardonada con el Premio Olivier y el Premio del Evening Standard al Mejor Musical Desde su estreno en Londres, el musical ha sido visto por más de 81 millones de espectadores en más de cincuenta países.
